TEAM AGAINST AIDS

In Mexico, a new school-based program, A Team Against AIDS, was introduced as a complement to the existing and commonly used life skills program, Planeado tu Vida (Planning your Life).

The new curriculum requires extensive training for school teachers. Training begins with 40 hours interactive and participatory training, delivered by experienced instructors. The training itself is evaluated; the teachers answer pre and post-test questionnaires. Comparisons of the pre and post-test difference are then used to analyze the effectiveness of the instructor training sessions.
